1. Who this covers

This policy applies to Natial Schools (natialschools.com and its subdomains), operated by Natial Technologies. Each school using Natial is the data controller for its own pupils', guardians' and staff' records; Natial acts as the data processor that stores and runs that data on the school's behalf, under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and its regulations.

2. What we collect

For your own account: name, email or sign-in name, phone number, and a password (we store a salted hash, never the plain text). For a pupil, whatever the school enters: name, date of birth, gender, admission number, who their guardians are, which class they're in, scores and results, and fee invoices and payments. We also keep sign-in timestamps and the same audit trail every result and fee change already carries, so a school can see who changed what.

We don't sell personal data, run advertising, or share pupil records with anyone outside the pupil's own school.

3. How we use it

Solely to run the product: authenticate sign-ins, keep each school's data separate from every other school's, generate report cards and receipts, and let a parent see their own child's published results and fee balance. Nothing here is used to profile pupils or target them with content.

4. How we protect it

We use reputable cloud infrastructure providers and encrypt data in transit. Staying signed in doesn't rely on tracking cookies or third-party advertising trackers of any kind.

5. Your rights

A parent or guardian can ask their child's school to see, correct or delete the records held about their child: the school controls this data, and Natial only acts on the school's instruction. A staff member can ask their school's admin for the same. For anything Natial itself controls, like your own account login, email the address below.
